I've tripped off the high road a few too many times to not be wary of it.

I prefer it to many of the other approaches. And since we're on it, yeah, being here is reminiscent of using ourselves as bargaining chips. But I've met some great people, so it isn't all prostitution all the time.

I know what you mean, though. This place isn't what I was expecting when I agreed to come, and from what I've seen so far, people seem to be mostly decent. And some may or may not be crazy, but that's no different than back home.

Personally? They're alright. On a scale of 1 to 10, maybe a six. Maybe. But how many ways are there to prepare fried cheese, exactly? Either they turn out or they don't.

I have, but I can't get behind thinking anyone is that crazy when the city we're in now shouldn't exist. It still does. We're in it right now.

And here I thought it was just anything deep fried period. But I guess every place has their thing. It was breadsticks back home. These really horrible, completely stale breadsticks that people would completely lose their minds over.
